Family Event 40 people Under unfortunate circumstances we needed a large space to host our family for a repass dinner due to a very unexpected death in our family… we looked at all our options and to no luck we faced a lot of challenges. I reached out to the events coordinator at Steinhilber’s who hands down was so empathetic and gracious! She made it work during a holiday weekend with literally 3 days to prepare! Our waiter I believe was named Tom (a cowboys fan in a room full of people from Philadelphia) was AMAZING he felt like a family member! We all loved his kindhearted personality! The additional staff and bartenders made the rest of the night effortless and the drinks they made… all I can say is perfect! My mother in law is still talking about the entire experience! My grandparents and parents have enjoyed this place for generations but the first time I was able to experience them was 7 years ago when my now husband, took me on our first date here. We've celebrated almost every anniversary dinner here, friends birthdays, and other special occasions but Last night, we celebrated our first wedding anniversary. The service is ALWAYS top notch and the food has never been short of incredible. We had the butterfly fried shrimp for an appetizer (as we always do). For the entrée my husband ordered a dinner special of Rockfish and succotash, and I ordered the Tomahawk with a twice baked potato. I completely didn't pay attention to the menu and had no idea it came with sides, nor did I realize just how big it would be. But for reference, my husband's plate is a normal size lol. Fantastic atmosphere. I Ordered the salmon with a twice baked potato and it was very delicious. I got the crème brûlée for desert, and it was the best I have ever had. The waitstaff is very good at describing the menu and great at their job. This is a must visit restaurant located in Virginia Beach.
