Steak 'n Shake

First visit! Place was clean and I was greeted upon entering. Did a custom burger order and it came out as ordered. Fries and food were hot and tasty. Food came out a little slow. Worst part of the experience was there only being kiosks for ordering, I didn't expect that at a SnS. I can't explain it, but it made the whole experience feel clinical and depressing. It didn't help that the place was mostly empty even though it was almost 12:30pm, giving the store a stronger hollow feeling to it. They really shouldn't have automated the check outs...

Delightful time having lunch there with my daughter. Very helpful and friendly staff. The burgers and fries there were excellent and quite a bargain too as they have several meals for only $4.00 each! Definitely going back.

They have kiosks instead of waiters and I LOVE it! I went back to the kiosk to buy a second glizzy, which is something I never would have asked a human with a face and judging eyes for. I split a Frisco Melt with a friend, and it was toasted perfectly. I've been to a lot of Steak & Shakes many times, and this was a great food experience for what it was. *For what it was.* The dining area was kind of dirty but I mean, let's be real. It's a Steak & Shake. This was also one of like 3 times in my life I went to a S&S while the sun was up.
