Steak 'n Shake

The weight in the drive through was almost 30 minutes long and there wasonly one car in front of me. My finally received my order and been sitting there for a long.of time. When I got my order something told me to check to make sure it was mine and it wasn't. Once I was given my correct order it had a taste that of the smell of mildew. At this point I wasn't going to waste any more time at this location.

We came here because I used to eat this in Jacksonville and the patty melts were scrumptious. Not the case here. The patty melt had a bitter tinge aftertaste, as well as the shoestring fries. Not enjoyable. I tasted my wife’s burger and it was better than the patty melt but my experience had already been tainted. The place isn’t too clean although there wasn’t anyone eating inside while we were there so it wasn’t too noticeable. I also ordered a Reese’s shake and that was the best thing I had. The ladies working there are of the older generation so I understand why the food takes so long reading other people’s reviews. I probably won’t return as there are better options for shakes near my house. This place still getting business should be a testament to all that you can literally open any type of restaurant and if the food is edible people will come. But don’t go eat there. Unless you want a shake. Fin.

Was not impressed with how they handled online orders. The mobile app said it was for pickup but never said it would be through drive thru. I ordered online so I would not have to wait as I have been there before where they make me back up my car so that I would not trigger the sensor for the time they take for each order at the drive thru window. For an order that have been ready in 15 minutes I had to wait over 20 minutes for my order. Do not recommend. Got to say that probably Steak 'n Shake corporation has gone to trash.
