Station 8 BBQ

The atmosphere is so cool, especially for history lovers. The food is fantastic. I had the two meat meal with ham and brisket with a side of honey carrots. My husband had the two meat dinner also with the turkey and brisket with a side of Mac and cheese. I mentioned to my husband while in line that the jalapeno corn pudding looked good and they added a sample of it on my plate. It was the star side that we tried in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, the carrots were good and the Mac was creamy and smokey, but the caramelized jalapeno on the corn pudding was addicting. The two meat dinner comes with a slice of bread, dill pickle slices and onions. The pickles are nice and crunchy, but I do think pickled onions would be the icing on the cake. It's nice and cool inside. We will return.

Went out and caught a case of the meat sweats. I loved the look, layout, and the meat by the pound. The links were juicy but not soft, the brisket had an amazing bark and moistness, and the ribs were strong. I even tried a slice of turkey at the recommendation of the owner. Best BBQ in Wichita. The Smoked Bologna is amazing. I am not much of a brisket fan but theirs was fantastic. Not your typical run of the mill sides. Staff is helpful and friendly. Love the vibe too. Overall a really great place!
