Hey everybody I just want to let you know about a burger place that we like to frequent called Stackhouse. It’s down kind of over in old East Dallas not far from Baylor Hospital off Gaston Avenue, the address is 2917 Gaston Ave. we’ve been going there for several years and it’s always been spot on. It’s not a huge place and there’s not a lot of parking but you can park in back and on the street behind it and it’s worth it. Once you get inside you’ll see it will accommodate probably about 30-35 people inside, and they’ve got a few two people tables that run along the wall with places to sit by the window. There are a couple, probably about seven or eight barstools at the bar and then some tables up front there’s also seating on the outside patio and they have an upstairs patio deck that you can sit at. The selection is perfect going from single burgers to triple burgers. They are fresh and made to order. I ordered the single cheeseburger medium with pepper jack cheese, bacon and grille
I love this place! My family and I have been coming here for a couple years now. I recommend everything on the menu lol. We love the soups especially the chicken noodle soup and broccoli and cheddar. Recently I had the Cajun salmon sandwich omg so freaking awesome. Don’t pass this place up. The staff is so welcoming always in a good mood.
idk why but I've been on a burger hunt lately and trying different burger places in Dallas. Stackhouse is definitely up there, just under Rodeo Goat for me. More flavor than Blue's. Base single patty of $9 with pickles, onions, tomatoes, lettuce. Everything else is an add-on and extra $. But the burger is a good size and if you get fries you'll definitely get full. They definitely pack the toppings and I had to take out some of the pickles because it was overpowering but overall a good burger (single + smoked gouda). Fries ($4) were solid, and I got the vanilla milkshake ($6) and I really liked it. Tasted homemade and they added something that I can't quite put a finger on but added texture to the milkshake. Overall very impressed and would definitely go again.
