St. Kilda Cafe & Bakery

We stopped in for brunch on a Tuesday. It was fairly empty when we arrived and we got to pick our seats. They definitely keep it cold inside. The inside is very clean and minimal. Service was friendly and we did get water refills timely. The food was good and the ingredients tasted fresh and well-prepared. I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich which had sausage and bacon on it. The hash brown was nice and crispy, good seasoning and just a tiny oily. My husband enjoyed the avocado toast which had lots of toppings. Maybe a tad pricey overall, so I wouldn’t make it a regular breakfast stop, but I’d come back to try some lunch or dinner.

The menu is very unique. The food was awesome. The service was not the best....we waited a while before anyone came to our table then it was difficult to get refills for water. Lastly no one came back to ask how our meal was.

St. Kilda is an absolutely amazing restaurant! Every aspect of the store has been carefully planned to make a great experience for people to enjoy. The food was perfect! I ordered the St. Kilda burger (Pictured below), and holy guacamole, that was one of the greatest burgers I've ever ate. The fries were awesome too. Service was great as well. I have no complaints, our waitress was kind and timely. Food was also brought out quickly. The restaurant has a very interesting atmosphere. You really have to see it for yourself, but it's pretty cool when you're there. Overall, St. Kilda is an amazing restaurant that I wholeheartedly recommend!
