St Bess Jerk

I would of gave this place 4 stars if they had plantains, wings & included Kola Champagne with the meals. Otherwise then that the rice & beans were fire ???? & it didn’t taste overly spicy like it does at other Jamaican Restaurants. The White Jerk Chicken was really good ???? Meat was extremely tender & the skin had the right amount of Jerk ???????? it definitely didn’t taste dry. Mashed potatoes were ok but the corn could of been better. They’re open late & its BYOB which is never a bad thing ???? I was really surprised to see so many negative reviews. Hopefully this place has plantains & wings for the next time I stop in

Food is amazing! Knew they weren't playing when I pulled into the lot and they had smokers. I wanted the Mac and cheese or mashed potatoes, but didn't want to carb load given that my meal came with rice. I'm definitely coming back to try the veggie patties, curries, and seafood!! Seems like one of those places that you have to get it before they run out. So I wouldn't wait to order. Cashier seemed like a cool cat.

Jerk salad was not giving me jerk salad at all. Just wet lettuce and cut up peppers w/ carrots . The tacos were a sloppy mess. I wouldn’t recommend. Maybe just get the chicken by itself. Not sure about the sides . Clearly I ordered the wrong thing it’s a no for me
