St. Bess Jerk

I’ve heard good things about this place. So I decided to try it for dinner. I ordered the jerk wing dinner. The 6 wings were nice in size. And cooked to perfection. The cabbage and the beans and rice were delicious. The Mac and cheese was aight???? The evening staff was great and professional.

I gave this place 2 shots just to ensure it wasn't an off day on my 1st visit. Conclusion: No effort is put into the food. My 2 meals were microwaved and dried out. Rice and peas were undercooked, hard and super salty. Jerk sauce couldn't be use due to how salty the rice and peas were. Plantains were good. The 2 young girls on the register each visit were super ghetto and stayed on their phone talking while taking my order. No cook in sight either time. Lots of ash over everything kept me spitting just as much as the undercooked rice and the dinner is the same size as a lunch from any other jerk spot. Sorry but if you don't care, I don't care and will not be patronizing this business anymore.
