Nice atmosphere and great music playing, but that's about where the good part ended for us. Our waiter, by his words, was exhausted and having an "off day". Boy I'll say!! We went on Sunday, 2:30ish, while it was still Brunch. We were there for the lunch menu and were told we could order off the regular menu after 3:00pm. No problem! Ordered a Bloody Mary and the Fried Green Tomatoes. Both very tasty, however the Bloody Mary is garnished with a stick or rosemary only. Pretty, but disappointing to not even have an olive or an okra. The Fried Green Tomatoes were the saving grace, a feast for the eyes and palate, I will say!! At this point we were ignored until 3:30, when we were finally "allowed" to order. We ordered a Mezcal cocktail and a beer along with the Philly Cheesesteak and Smash Burger. 15 minutes later, no drink and no sign of our waiter. I had to hunt down another server to find him and ask where our drinks were. He shows up several minutes later to inform us he had forgotten

We sat at the bar and were frankly very impressed with the staff; they are tasked with creating the establishments vast exotic drink concoctions. We ate the lettuce wraps and the roast beef Po boy with a thick gravy. The fries were not really hot which was unfortunate but the rest of the experience made up for it. The house salad is outstanding

The fried green tomatoes were delicious and big enough to eat as an entree. The merleton and Crawfish tails on top were delicious. So good that we ate them up before we could snap a picture. Paola was our server and she was excellent. She was very sweet, quick and attentive. I would definitely ask for her to be our server again when we go back. Kid friendly, good food, and awesome service.
