Casual Italian dining with excellent service. The pasta dishes are sublime. The day after eating pasta at Spinasse, I had pasta at another place, and the pasta at the other place was such a let down--it just could not compare to Spinasse. What I really enjoyed at Spinasse was that sharing is encouraged. Our party of 4 ordered full servings ($33) of 3 different pastas and a half serving ($19) of another pasta to share. We also shared a plate of the flank steak ($36). The server gave us pasta bowls for the pasta, then cleared the table to bring new plates and flatware for the steak. Dessert ($13 for any dessert selection) was wonderful--not too sweet, good balance of smooth and crunchy textures. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is very popular, so make your reservations at least 3 weeks in advance if you want a desirable time slot. We made a reservation for a Tuesday night 2 weeks in advance and the earliest time available was 8:30 pm.
The rabbit pasta and fig sauce dessert are really great. The service and the atmosphere are so so. The wine is definitely not the types we like. Overall, it is pricy and maybe not worth time to wait a reservation for almost a month. … More
On the menu there’s an option to order EVERYTHING. That’s what we did. It was a great experience by itself. The food are mostly tasty. The fresh pasta taste so good - especially liked the mini ravioli with rabbit. The duck breast and the tuna mayo appetizer also stand out. The service was exceptional as well. Overall it was a great experience
