Located in POST Houston, I went in during the weekend to try it out. Was a little packed on the weekend but the food was delicious. Very interesting take on filipino foods with slight twist! First of all, longest lumpia I’ve ever seen! The sauce is good, it is thicker than used to and more vinegary but paired well with the foods. The adobo calamari was my favorite. The eggplant was a nice surprise, it tasted as if it was soaked in sinigang (and I love sinigang) so I loved the dish automatically.
Very disappointed. I ordered a Lechon plate and it looked nothing like the picture. You guys described that it would be crunchy pork skin and there is nothing crunch about that. Customer service was horrible and dismissive when we tried to ask about the plate. You need to train your staff properly. I even show the staff what the photo of the food looked like and they stated that it was for the other locations.
Went back to Post to try Soy Pinoy and it was amazing! So flavorful and full of color. They represented Pinoy food perfectly. Today we ordered the Sisig (left) and the Beef Kare Kare (right). mabuhay! ????????
