Had lunch with family. Staff were welcoming as soon as we entered. Everyone is required to have a reservation so we were seated without wait. The restaurant has a nice blues theme decor with music. The yams and cornbread muffins were my favorite. My mother reported the pork chops were seasoned perfectly. The egg rolls were crispy and delicious.
The food here was great! It was fresh and hot when it came to the table. You get cornbread for the whole table on the house. The cornbread was so good I didn't get a chance to take a pic ????. The building was clean and very elegant looking inside. The staff were nice and out waitress made sure we had everything we needed. Gratuity is taken out of your check automatically. Will definitely come back in the future. Oh and is black own and all black staff!
Went here with my husband for our 3rd wedding anniversary tonight and we LOVED it. Everything was seasoned well and came out hot. I didn’t have a favorite everything was great. HOWEVER. Be mindful a 15% Gratuity is included in your bill this is not mentioned anywhere on the menu etc and they don’t tell you. The staff was great but if I knew gratuity was included I would not have added so much of an extra tip on top of that. But 10/10 would recommend for food and vibes
