Southern Hands Homestyle Cooking

Ate there earlier this week for the first time. Had to be back in Memphis yesterday and I went str8 back here to get my plate. Was disappointed I couldn’t dine in, but the food was absolutely good. If you want some good soul food, this is the spot in the M!

This is my third time at this restaurant. They have very tasty food. It will make you think of a home cooked meal. I must say this time around, I was more impressed with my server than anything. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. Due to this fact, we will return.

I placed a order for me and my husband, he got the chopped steak dinner, and I got the smothered pork chops dinner. I called in after placing my order to let them know I wanted the food cooked well, the woman told me they cook their food medium well so the meat will be pink, but stated she will do cooked well this time for me. I received the food and it was undercooked, thier was gravy inside the bag as if the food was not handled properly. I stopped going to the restaurant because of previous issues with my food, and said let me give Southern Hands another try. I was very disappointed with the service I received as well as the uncooked food. This place was one of my favorites when they first opened, just seems to me after the business took off the workers got lazy and rude. I feel like you should keep up the good work no matter how the company is doing to keep a good name for yourself. This is by far my last time ever getting food from them. I would advise any visitors coming to Memph
