Southern Express

The cabbage was so good. I will leave an honest review. The Mac and cheese was disappointing, the greens needed some salt. I believe this restaurant has lots of potential though.

They should be embarrassed to call themselves A Southern Express Restaurant. The pork chops were so thin that you could see through them. They were so salty too. Then she has the nerve to give me salt. The rice was over cooked. The collard greens were nothing but tasteless stems. The mac and cheese were straight out of a box. They tried to bake them for a brown top. They were runny. I suppose too much water to stretch the cheese. Also, the cornbread was wet and torn up. I will never go back there again. Please change your name or get new cooks. 0(zero) Stars!!

Food was OK. Had what looked like spaghetti but was actually chili with spaghetti noodles. Tasted as if it was Hormel can chili but it was OK. Cornbread was cold and hard. Small places. Not many ppl were there so order was taking rather quickly. Lady taking orders was nice. Not to polite but not rude. So I take that as professional attitude. Price was average. Only water, sprite or coke in cans are the drink selections.
