Great dinner experience! Fantastic drinks. The menu is not super long. There are 5 things for appetizers, 5 dinner-main entree options, 3 salads. It's very pared down, which I like because it means the cooks become very very good at what they do. However, don't go in this restaurant expecting to get a burger or chicken fingers and fries. The wine and beer list is longer than dinner menu. Atmosphere was good, you could actually have a conversation. Overall, a very good experience! The fried green tomatoes were excellent!! Plus, the Hello Friend drink was quite tasty.
In a word: classy. Very nice restaurant housed in the Hotel at Avalon in Alpharetta. The seating is designed to accommodate large groups and intimate seating as well. The menu selection is sparse mostly consisting of salads, starters like chicken livers, scallops and veggie and entrees like hanger steaks, seafood, and fried chicken to choose from. I loved the selection of sides like the collard greens, broccolini, asparagus and the brussel sprouts were so delicious! I made a meal from the sides. Yummy!
Wonderful atmosphere, food and impeccable service. Fried green tomatoes are fantastic. The hanger steak was cooked to perfection and the Halibut was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to try more from their menu.
