This restaurant has some of the best food I ever ate. The Salisbury is delicious. I’m from Indianapolis and heard about this restaurant and came. Thanks for the best customer service experience. Side note: our food came so quick. Let’s just say you have a forever customer with me
All I will say is the food is really good, really soul flavored food however the service needs a lot of work. We went on a Sunday evening and they were out of almost everything, no greens, only thighs and legs for chicken, no green beans. The server was a sweetheart but seemed so over whelmed while the front staff was in front chilling and conversing. I'd try this spot again but on a weekday and maybe the experience will be better. I worked in hospitality for 6 years, management inbox me if you need tips on training staff!
My husband and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and had a wonderful experience! All the staff were personable and polite. The food was incredible! We both had the 2 piece catfish entree which comes with two sides and cornbread. We both ordered an additional side as well. We were thrilled to see the portion sizes. The mac & cheese and sweet potatoes remind me of the ones my auntie used to cook for holiday meals. They were out of the banana pudding so we ordered the peach cobbler to go. We loved the vibe of the restaurant and could not get over how delicious everything was! I highly recommend Soul Secrets!
