Souk Mediterranean Kitchen and Bar

The most impressive thing about this restaurant: the service. Our waitress did not hover but she was very attentive, filling up water as needed and catering to our needs. And so sweet! Thank you for being such a joy. As for the restaurant as a whole, it was a great dining atmosphere. Darker woods and exposed brick make the space cozy and welcoming. The music also brings you more in touch with the food and culture. The chef has curated an incredible menu with a wide selection. I’d like to give special recognition for the lamb, which was cooked perfectly to order with a good char. All of the food was salted to perfection and every flavor profile met it’s intent. I usually like to focus on positive reviews for restaurants, but this deserves all the accolades. Huge thanks to the chef for contributing to Toledo’s ever-growing food culture.

I went here at around 1:00 pm on a Friday and there was a good amount of seating still available, despite having a reservation. The staff, especially our server, were all very nice and accommodating. The ambience was great too, and it seemed like they put in the work to make it a nice restaurant. The menu was very extensive with lots of drinks, appetizers, and all kinds of Mediterranean food. I got a burger with a side of chips which were both delicious and the Market Sunrise Sunset drink which I would recommend too! As far as appetizers go, the brussel sprouts were amazing and other dishes at other tables also looked good. I would go back and try more things from the menu!

We stopped in for dinner and it was simply amazing. The atmosphere, food and drinks were exactly what I was looking for. The service was perfect. We tried many different appetizers, we loved the calamari the most. Yes, it is pricey but it was worth it. You get what you pay for. Thanks Souk for a great experience, we will be back!
