Food was great, service was okay. Then we got the check, 18% is added to the check "to facilitate a higher living wage for all our employees." Apparently, that's separate from the tip. I own a business and I take pride in paying my employees a very competitive wage. I am not sure why this establishment thinks it's okay to pay their employees less than a fair living wage and expect their customers to make up for the difference. Mind you if you do the math, the wage seems exorbitant: it took us half an hour to dine, 18% of 115 bill is almost $20 — so they're asking their customers to pay a $40/hour wage for their employees. I wonder what kind of hourly wage they actually pay their employees. Then, of course, you have to add the tip, in my case 15% for for the barely satisfactory service. I guess that answered the first question that came to mind; great food, but why is the restaurant empty? Won't come back and won't recommend.

Mini lobster roll, smoked mahi dip, and kennebec fries rounded out a seaworthy lunch. Very fun decor and extremely kind and professional staff. The lobster roll was petite but packed with flavour and lobster. The toasted bun was buttery and delicious. The smoked mahi dip is a must have. I had to pace myself so I didn’t devour it immediately.

We liked the food. It was mentioned that the service was include, however it was encouraged to pay more 18% at the end… surprisingly
