Solo Burgers & Wings

I read a review from someone saying that the cheese fries had really terrible yellow cheese sauce on them. The owner immediately responded and said they were going to change it right away. I was curious to see how the cheese fries were now... They went too far in the other direction. My fries were a solid chunk of fries bound together by shredded cheddar cheese. They had some bacon on top, but the amount of jalapenos on it was CRAZY. It was 2-3 large handfuls of sliced jalapenos. The prime rib steak burger was seasoned well, but the meat was very poor. Chewy, spongy, and clearly frozen for a long time, it was not what I expected based on past reviews. Toppings were fresh and the bun was AMAZING. Boneless wings turned out well. they were doused in sauce but still crispy. Speaking of the sauce... I ordered the Solo Secret not really knowing what it was. This was my third time eating at Solo. The grilled chicken sandwich is always perfect. The chicken is big enough to hang off the bun. The Chipotle aioli sauce adds the perfect hint of spice, but is not hot. The chicken is marinated, too, and honestly it would be good alone, but with the added spring lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, and swiss, it makes the perfect grilled chicken sandwich. The owner is nice. I can tell he cares about every customer and wants to make them happy. The fries are fluffy with the perfect amount of crunch. If you want something sweet, add 2 cookies or a brownie. He will heat them for you, too! My daughter loves their burgers. The kids size is perfect for her. She leaves full, but eats all of her food. They offer BYOB, and will accommodate groups. The restaurant is sparkling clean, trash is always empty, and kitchen staff wear masks and head coverings. This has quickly become our favorite place to eat! They have a variety of foods. Great vibe and delicious burgers. Highly recommend the crispy chicken burger with buffalo sauce and Solo XOXO Burger with the chicken wings on top. Owner was so kind and struck up a great conversation with us and even sat at our table. Definitely coming again when we are in Dallas!
