All your expectations of an original butter burger will be fulfilled at Solly's Grille; the softest onions and copious amounts of butter makes this one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The meat Pattys are a little small but that's why I saw all the regulars order two burgers at a time. Thicker patties are available but I suggest you go with the original first to get the full experience. Excellent malts are also recommended. Can be crowded but I went about 2pm and had no wait.
This is a local must visit restaurant when you're at Milwaukee. Historical for the pioneer of butter Burger. The price is amazing for the quality and taste of the food. Love the idea sitting around the counter while the waitress serve you. No waiting list when we visited them but it was steady flow of customer.
This is the best cheeseburger in the world. Pure perfection. The shakes and fries are great too, as well as a classic diner feel. Been going here for 42 years and I haven’t found anything butter:)
