The Soleil@K is a very nice semi-upscale restaurant within the Downtown Marriott on K street. We were there for the breakfast which had great options on their 'buffet'. Along with sausage gravy and biscuits, soft scrambled eggs and multiple types of breakfast meats, one could order made-to-order eggs and french toast. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating.
Food is plain. Had pancakes and eggs so can't really go wrong there :) but.....the busboy??granpa...can he be more louder and obnoxious with the plates shish
A real gem. We were in town for a convention, and found Latitude Lounge to be a relaxed atmosphere for lunch service in a sea of crowded restaurants. We had a quiet street-side outdoor table (though the street itself wasn't quiet). The food and beverages were great quality for the price. I can definitely vouch for the lunchtime special here!
