Sol Oaxaca Cocina Mexicana

Food was spectacular! Service was not great at all, my boyfriend and I felt neglected and waited a long time in between seeing our server. That said, the place is new so it could be that they just haven't found their groove yet. I would absolutely go back, the food was incredible! We split guac, queso, tostadas and papas. The decor and the vibe were great!

Update (6/28): Just went for brunch Sunday. Again, food and drinks were amazing. So much deliciousness. OK, so my wife and I have been there three times since opening. Everything we've eaten there has been delicious, cooked perfectly. We've had most of their happy hour menu, and a few entrees. Also their chorizo fundido is bomb, and the chips they offer almost melt in your mouth, seriously. Their drink specialties are very, very good. You want mezcal in your margarita? Not a problem. Their tequila and mezcal options are good right now for opening, and the owner has told me more is coming. This is not your typical taco joint however, these guys are positioning themselves in a way to provide a menu with higher end, authentic, Mexican cuisine. They are doing Tamale Tuesdays (and we've tried three of them, all awesome), instead of taco tuesdays. My wife and I, at least, really dig this because we have good taco places, but they focus more on high quality street food. Sol Oaxaca

A. M. A. Z. I. N. G. Wonderful time was had by all!! First off the atmosphere and aesthetic was just lovely it was just a nice place to be in. Our waitress, Samantha, was great and offered wonderful suggestions. My Husband and I got the Burrito and it was huge and so good we ate our plates clean, I’m talking scraping up what’s left. I’m also a nursing mama so I was able to have a mocktail (which I can’t find most places) that was not only pretty but delicious. Just a great time. Highly highly highly recommended.
