Best hecken burger we’ve ever had!! And we’ve had some pretty amazing burgers. This one just dethroned them all. Their side portions are generous and perfectly crispy onion rings and bacon (upon request). The owner and young staff are super cool and friendly, easy to talk to at the counter seats, fun people with a lot of talent. The building itself has a charming design and feel to it, just across the lake docks and tucked away in the fall colors. Our one regret was splitting the burger thinking our stomachs would be too small this morning. Definitely going back for a full one each!

Excellent friendly service for their made fresh food!... I got this really good grilled chicken salad, took a while as they had to grill chicken and chop up the salad - not pre-packaged greens like I figured!

Loved this hidden gem! Tucked in Wyandotte County lake park. It's fabulous. It's clean. Could old building. Went in for a late lunch. Thought it would take a while and there was 9 of us. The gal behind the counter was amazing. She was quick accurate and nice. The food was hot and great. Really good onion rings the burger was good size and tasted great. Prices are fair. Will definitely be back!
