Smokin' Gold BBQ

Okay so I live down the street and work literally right across from it, pass it everyday and never got my attention bc I don’t really like bbq sauce. Let me tell you, this was the best food I’ve had in a min. Sooo good and flavorful! Not dry, not expensive. Def worth it. The picture is the chicken plate with max and cheese and corn casserole as the side.

This was our very first time here. We were told this would be a great place for brisket. Also we came to support an non profit organization to help raise funds for the homeless. Well our order was placed first by my spouse. He ordered while I went to the rest room. By the way the restroom was very clean. The seating area was clean. The menu was clear and the cashier was also helpful with providing any additional information about the food. We were very disappointed. My husband's order was not made. My son's order was missing the items I had requested and our expectations of the food was not good. We will not be returning to this location. The brisket was chopped we were expecting whole slices. Not chopped, the ribs tasted as if they were left over from the night before. The greens were not good. Over all not a good experience in this food. We ordered the sampler platter which had all the meats and a taste of all the sides for I think $32.99. Me and my husband split it and still had leftovers to take home. The taste of everything was amazing. The peach cobbler was quite literally the best peach cobbler I’ve ever had. And my whole table felt the same way. Staff was so friendly and helpful - I highly recommend for small and large groups. The outside patio was fantastic for a fall
