Smokee Mo's St. Louis BBQ

Very solid BBQ. Brisket is good, pulled pork is good, sides are above average. Not a huge fan of their sauces, but they are not bad by any means. Staff that serves you is always friendly and engaging. People that check you out are a little less so. Space is cool. Very open and woody. I have gone for lunch a couple times and mostly had the place to ourselves. There is a parking lot, but I assume it fills up fast if the place ever gets busy.

Seriously good food and a fully vegan menu too which is a huge plus. The staff is also super friendly and the service is excellent! The vegan jackfruit nachos were out of this world too.

I went in blind knowing nothing about Smokee Mo's. Received a gift card from work and came in for lunch. Walking up to the place I knew I was in for a treat because it smelled amazing. Not sure what I was expecting but I wasn't expecting it to be so nice inside either. Huge tall ceiling and everything is wood. The smell of lumber and BBQ mixed together was pretty intoxicating not gonna lie. The staff was all super friendly and were happy to make recommendations for a first timer. I ended up with the Mangia Bene which was a hearty portion of beef brisket between two pieces of cheesy garlic bread. It was hard to choose a side because they all looked so good. I was torn between the Texas potatoes, twice baked potatoes, or Mac n Cheese. The young lady at the counter recommended the Mac and promised I wouldn't be disappointed. Boy oh boy was she right.
