Service was good, wait for my meals during a Saturday afternoon was about 10 minutes. Got 2 meals and was disappointed. $20 for a dry, tasteless burger, and frozen fries As a hole the burger is good, the ingredients made a tasty burger, but the meat itself was dry and bland. For the price, I expect at least fresh cut fries.
I've gone to this location several times in the past before and the food has been exceptional. Today that all changed. My fries were cold to the touch and barely seasoned. The burger is not the same anymore! The purple onions were cut into small pieces which is extremely weird. The burger was soggy almost wet tasting. I'm use to the much larger onions, not tiny random size pieces. The wait time was crazy even with anyone barely in the restaurant and with me ordering inside the restaurant. The staff was okay. The whole experience was just awful there's no other way to explain it.
Smashburger is hands down my favorite burger place. The burgers are delicious and the smash fries are on a different level than any other fry out there. The location on McKinney Avenue in Dallas is great. The employees are always so friendly and the restaurant is always clean. I highly recommend Smashburger if you're looking for a different type of burger. My pic shows smoked cheddar brisket burger. A hamburger patty with brisket, smoked cheddar, pickles and BBQ sauce make this burger INSANELY DELICIOUS! ????
