They don't do reservations on the phone and the wait was one & half hour. I had Prosciutto pizza which was ok but nothing special. Crust was burnt on sides and underneath. Meat balls were really good tho. We had tiramisu and Frannie Slim for dessert. Tiramisu is just an ice cream flavor and not the real tiramisu and Frannie Slim is kinda like milk shake in champagne glass.
Pizza and ice cream were good, but the caesar salad could be better. Service was good, and I liked the decor. Overall a B+ and fairly priced for Mountain Brook.
I cannot say enough about slims! Every time I have been there, the food is absolutely delicious and never disappoints, time I get something new, I think THIS is my favorite! You can tell that everything is made with love and handmade. The atmosphere is so comfortable and relaxed, and I love sitting at the bar, candles flickering, music playing and an excellent staff! Go now and get to Slim’s!
