Slice on Broadway-Beechview

Ordered using the Slice app and showed up based on the promised time. Easy parking in the back, walked in and greeted immediately by the friendly staff. My pizza was ready and was still piping hot. I should know as had to have a small slice as soon as I sat in the car. Let me say, the pizza is very good and in my top 5 in Pittsburgh for sure. The crust when eaten alone is just like eating great bread, airy and flavorful. The ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings to the base is excellent. The sauce has a little kick and cheese blend they use is great. Will be back for more for sure.

I can’t overstate how great this pizza is. The crust is incredible and flavors are all top notch. They have really nailed everything that they offer. I waited to review until trying several kinds of sauces and pizza styles since they have a wide variety and they haven’t missed yet. The Athena is probably my favorite overall so far, but the red sauce styles are also excellent. You won’t even think about ditching the crust since it’s so crisp and flavorful.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had I love the crust and everything is really flavorful.
