Sky Deck

Sky Deck is located in the Del Mar Highlands Town Center. Constructed during the pandemic and finally opening its doors June 2021. Some say it has a Barcelona-Style restaurant vibe but I agree with the architect who created it with a maritime industrial design, this you see in the details rather than looking at the place as a whole. Sky deck offers nine restaurants and a central cocktail bar. The restaurants include; Ambrogio15 – Offers a unique style of Milano Pizza Craft House – Modern American Glass House – Asian coastal inspired kitchen Understory – Sky Decks Central cocktail bar Kiin – Thai food feat. original recipes from Thailand Le Parfait Paris – French savoir-Faire Marufuku Ramen - Hakata-style Tonkotsu ramen Zizikis Street Food – Modern Greek street food. Urbana – Mexican gastronomy Family and I sat at Understory, ordered most of our food from Glass House and Pad see ew from Kiin! All of what we ordered was absolutely delicious and amazing. The food came quick, seasoned well

I've been here a few times now (during the week) and have really loved this place. I've tried understory, the Italian spot, the Mediterranean spot, and Urbana. I think so far my favorite is Urbana. The food was so good and the drinks were amazing! The service is also really good considering how busy this place can get. We had a party of 9 come in yesterday and he didn't miss a single thing and was checking up on us consistently. I love that you can grab whatever food you want from downstairs and then head upstairs with the food to have a beer!

If you sit at Understory, you can order from most places, not all, with service. Well designed interiors and good cocktails. Worth a visit and will go back to try other restaurants. The yellow curry from the Kiin was delicious.
