Calamari appetizer was just ok and very small portion for price. Wife's fries were room temperature. Another couple came in 5 minutes after us and had their order taken way before us. There were only us 2 couples their at the time. I had grouper sandwich and wife had Mahi sandwich. Both were excellent. Will give it a second try someday, but fairly pricey for not being on the water.

The fries were cold when received. The catfish was pretty good, the blackened salmon was super dry. The others will their fries shrimp and crab cakes. Waitress was super friendly. Took a little bit to receive our food. The place can use some updating.

Not sure how there are so many glowing reviews for this place. Let’s start off with the building itself, it’s dirty. There’s no excusing that, it’s just plain dirty. The seafood counter has fish and shrimp in it that do not look properly refrigerated. Even smells a little in there. At that point, I probably should have taken our group and left, but there are so many good reviews we decided to stay. The wait, staff was friendly and attentive, so give them credit for that. The food is mediocre. The New England style clam chowder is a one out of five. The clam strips were probably the best thing that someone ordered. The coconut shrimp had little flavor, although the shrimp was big. The grouper was about the lowest quality that I have had anywhere in Estero or Bonita. Just in general, the food was mediocre at best. Honestly, $150 for 6 people and I feel like Red Lobster would have been a far superior choice. Stay away.
