Sizzle Spot

The food is good but a little too bland. Our dish had very less or no salt at all. The server couldn’t find a salt to bring to us on the table even after asking for it!!

Update 9/10/2022 - Food is still excellent. Owner is still super friendly, but the service from the staff BADLY needs some work. It's honestly offensive. They're friendly to talk to, but extremely passive-aggressive. 1 - I recommend that you do not order your entree until you're nearly done your apps. Everything will get brought out together otherwise. Definitely not what you want when you get food on a hot plate that you're not ready to eat, and that you need to move around. 2 - Staff started clearing our table/ closing the store while we were still in the store. It's important to note, that we left 5 minutes before the store officially closed in accordance with their hours. To be clear about closing - I mean they were rather rude about it. Examples include stacking dishes literally on our table as high as my eyes (I'm tall - 6'0) - which spilled soup drippings on my shirt, and removing dishes and drinks from our table without asking if we were finished. A casual sit down restaurant. Utensils are self-serve on the side, and you pay up at the counter. Tables could use a deeper clean. Food was pretty good for a typical sizzle plate restaurant, you won't go wrong here. The radish cake appetizer was better than I thought. Meat portions were less compared to other places, but still decent. Ambience overall was pretty quiet, although the square itself was crowded so parking is a bit iffy. Men's washroom door was broken.
