Six Feet Under, a local place to Atlanta. Lots of choices of sea food! To start, we shared the calamari, two baskets of zucchini, and parmesan oysters. My friends and I ordered different things. I ordered the snow crab boil, my bf ordered the PEI mussels with Caesar salad, and my friend Jen ordered the shrimp tacos and side of onion rings. There’s a lot of different choices for drinks. I just ordered the unsweetened tea. They also have a lemonade and a lot of different fountain drinks as well. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. Prices were very reasonable and staff was very friendly. Our meal came out on time even though it was quite packed and busy for Saturday. Parking is also very easy, lots of parking in the back lot and there’s also parallel parking as well.
I was slightly apprehensive about visiting 6 feet under, only due to a concern that it would be gimmicky with less than stellar food. However, I found my visit to be absolutely perfect. My server Debbie was incredibly efficient and super sweet without being overbearing. I only stopped in for a quick lunch, and I still can't believe how fast they were with everything. I ordered the appetizer buffalo shrimp and a bourbon lemonade. I highly recommend both. I'm excited to come back and try so much more of this elevated, but non-pretentious pub seafood.
Love the atmosphere of this restaurant and the service was excellent but a little slow but they were busy so I get it. We ordered a couple of drinks, Whiskey Peach and Pushin' Up Daisies and they both were terrific. Food wise it was just okay. We loved the onion rings l. The fried chicken tacos were okay. It barely has any chicken in it. Just little pieces scattered throughout. The fish sandwich was fine too but they need to change the name of the sandwich. They call it the Codfather so you are expecting a big filet sticking out of the sandwich but instead you get two little fish sticks. Instead of a bun they should have used a hoagie. We both agreed the jalapeno tartar sauce tasted weird. The sauce that comes with the onion rings tasted much better with the fish sandwich. I would come back here for the drinks and to hang but not for the food. We were both really really thirsty afterwards so be prepared for some salty food.
