Don't let the exterior fool you! Behind the rather humble strip mall facade, you will find a charming little restaurant. When we arrived, there were 5 people in line to pick up their carry out. Promising! As we entered, we encountered a tasteful interior decor. The noise level is well controlled. The light level is relatively low. Service was efficient and very friendly. The dishes were well seasoned and spiciness levels matched our expectations. The Thai iced tea was thankfully not quite as sweet as at some other restaurants. Overall, this is a great place to go to for a last minute dinner before a concert at the Belly Up or a nice romantic date. It only seats an estimated 30 guests, so it may not be the best choice for a very large party.
We are so glad to find this Thai restaurant in the area. They are the sister restaurant of Star Anise in La Jolla which we go there all the time too. Everything is so delicious and authentic. Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 Recommended dishes Pad See EW, Pad Thai … More
