We decided to give this place a try and really enjoyed it. The prime rib special was under $15 which included vegetables and a potato (you can choose mashed, baked or fries) and to top it off they cooked it to perfection (not everyone likes rare but thats how i prefer it). The staff was friendly and the service was good. I'm only knocking down a star because we wanted mashed potatoes but they said it was going to take half an hour to make them so we settled for a baked potato instead. I would definitely eat here again.

Great food, price on the Prime Rib special brought us here, but food and service will bring us back. Justyn was the best server we've had in years, drink never got low, very courteous, not the norm anymore so it was very appreciated.

Let me start telling you all that I was very happy to finally eat here… I love El Cortez casino. I was there for my birthday last Sunday. Maybe it was the time, not sure but I read online that they closed at 12 so we arrived at 10 pm to have some late dinner. We arrived some minutes before 10 and immediately after we sat we were told that kitchen was closing at 10… I mean, I’m not sure 100% but I didn’t read anywhere that they were closing kitchen at 10. We ordered quickly some NY steaks (medium) and we were very disappointed. Service was okay, they were friendly but as it was my birthday I was expecting more honestly. 1 of our steaks was almost well done cooked and the other 2 were “medium” but they were hard to bite. For the price we paid for 3 people (1 steak and 1-2 drinks each one) around $180-$200 I wouldn’t recommend it. Again, maybe it was late but if they were giving us the option to dinner anyways they could have put more effort in the cooking area. Now I need another birthda
