Shun Xing Restaurant

The physical appearance of the place is very Uninviting. The lady behind the counter makes it even more dreary. Her stoic, cheerless character adds a somber tone . But, it's pretty standard Asian customer service. I can speak with authority on the matter because I'm Asian. Although I worked literally up the street for decades, I came here for lunch for the first time. Ordered the pepper steak lunch special. I expected the worse, half cooked fried rice, drenched with soy sauce. But, No, the food was actually good! The fried rice had good texture, and the pepper steak was not drowning in soy sauce! Low grade for the person at the front counter, but the cook is on-point! Or are they one-in-same? IDK.

The food here is really really good. Best in the area hands down! General Tso’s bomb!

This I a new Chinese restaurant for me. I always look at the reviews now before I go anywhere to order food. Someone from New York said it taste like back home Chinese food and I'm from New Jersey so I definitely had to come check it out... (it's not at all like up north Chinese by the way!) I ordered sesame chicken with shrimp fried rice, a side of hot and sour soup ????. It was ok had flavor a bit, the chicken was great, my soup was good not the tasi was looking for but overall it's worth what the charge. Ps. I received a free can soda in all paid 13.82 ???? ????
