This is not a regular stop for us because it’s not dietary safe if you have allergies. The seating hostess completely ignored me when I asked for a table for two and spent the time batting her eyes at my husband. And when she did finally hear me she acted annoyed. Super inappropriate. I think her tag was misspelled because it said sugee. The server on the other hand only brought us one drink apparently refills are not free And there is a tea shortage. Anytime I tried to flag her down she promptly ran the other way it’s not like it was busy but she was very involved with her phone and had the wrong attitude for hospitality. I know there is a staffing shortage but. We won’t be back.
Stopped by for an early dinner and after have visited most all Shoney’s location this one in Maryville is by far the best! The food was absolutely the best we’ve eaten in a while and the lady “running” the bar Brenda was continuously cleaning freshening up the food, bring new out new dood and rotating so you don’t get an old item later on. This is the first location I have seen covers over the food on the bar, this is top notch! Kept it fresh and not drying out. I can’t recommend anything better than this place. We will drive 45 mins out of our way to come back to this location.
The service was good friendly people the server was okay but we've been coming to shoney's for years and the food has really went downhill we had one in there the other day to eat the buffet the food was really cold and we told the manager about it he started checking the temperatures and everything like that but the food was cold the chicken was cold almost everything on the bar was cold but you could see steam coming off of it it was just a water underneath the pans I'm never going to eat the buffet because that way I know I'm not going to get poisoned because the food is so cold the only way I'll eat the buffet if it's breakfast because it's fresh and hot but in the afternoon it seemed like the food really but other than that the service and the people there great and they work really hard for the little money they make
