Never been here before and really wanted to try this place out for a long time. However, attempting to try this place via takeout was a real an inconvenience. Really wish I can give a review based of their food, but this one star is earned due to the difficulty of getting their food via take out! I had called in several times over a span of 1hr to place an order, and no one picks up the phone! I then drive to the place, and attemp to place a take out order at the restaurant. I am told the wait for food is 1hr... Not a pleasant experience. Really need to focus on their takeout services.
We love picking up our father and going to eat at the Shogun Restaurant in La Verne. He always gets a kick out of watching them cook the delicious food. The shrimp, filet mignon, fried rice are my personal favorites. The cooks make everyone feel welcome and we all have a good time. Recommend this place for dates, family and friend gatherings.
Shogun is one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve ever been to! I came here for a close friend’s birthday and it was mind-blowing how entertaining the chef was! The food was amazing, the fried rice with the different assortment of sauces was delicious. 10/10 I will be coming back soon.
