We've been here three times and once it was actually great, but has since gone down in quality. The place is filthy and the service is pretty terrible. What really got me though was that there were four of us and they tacked on 20% gratuity for our bill being over $100 (so basically any party bigger than 3). I worked in restaurants for years and have never seen this. I dont tip less than 15% even when service is subpar, but forcing a 20% grat without letting your customer know is just shady practice
Great sushi, awesome interior/decor, love the private booths. Sushi rolls were surprisingly larger than what I'm used to, which is awesome considering sushi ain't cheap - in this case, the price was more than fair. A bit slow getting the food, but no issue with me there since the place was very busy as soon as they opened. 100% coming back.
My favorite place for sushi in tucson. Good staff, great portions, great specials and also ask about the SMT
