Shiraz was an upscale, family friendly Persian restaurant which felt like eating in the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding! The food was fresh, authentic and stomach stretching. I loved the lamb and appetizer platter.
We ordered tahdig with for ghorme Danzig and gheime. The stews were good but the tahdig itself was not good. We also ordered Barbary rice ( zereshk polo) which was so sweet and It was more like Shirin polo. But the lamp shank was good but it was not brought with broth which I had to ask them to bring.
Seriously authentic and good tasting food. Options to sit north inside as well as outside. The servers are well informed and have good knowledge of the food they serve, so if you’re not sure, don’t hesitate to ask. The quantity is generous so order accordingly We loved the samplers .
