Shipwreck Bar & Grill

Been going here since it first opened. Every restaurant struggles their first year esp with service. COVID didn't help. With that being said, it's been maybe 4 years and service is still really bad. A lot of waiting. Lots of times I've ordered crab cakes and they don't have em. The owner is cool as hell and super nice. The food was pretty decent. I just don't understand how it doesn't translate to how the restaurant is run. Portion sizes are small compared to what you pay, esp in Indiana. These are downtown Chicago prices. They used to offer entrees, with 2 sides and according to the menu, now only one side. Explore other options.

First time there...nice bar, stage for entertainment, beautiful outside patio. All food made from scratch....great menu....seafood fresh...I had the Shrimp Po' Boy....it was so good and served on buttered toasted roll with tomato and fresh red onion. Also had the creamy hamburger soup as a side....delicious. If you stop in....ask for Megan....she was informative and so very nice.

Great patio! Great staff! Appetizer menu was fun. Drinks and beers handled our thirst! Live music was setting up but we had to leave before it started. Ring toss reminded us of Sanibel Island...give 'em a try I think you'll enjoy it!
