Shannon's Deli

I had the spinach salad w/ grilled chicken, diced cucumbers, hard boiled eggs, feta cheese and mustard vinaigrette. My husband had a grilled brat w/sauerkraut. The food was excellent. You can sit in the deli for a quick sandwich or you can sit in the restaurant section for a cozy meal or you can sit in the bar and watch the game or play the slots. If you're not interested in those choices, go upstairs to the rooftop seating and enjoy a meal with some friends. Shannon's seems to have something for everyone with the backyard bbq feeling. Parking: They are located in downtown Lombard by the train station and Lilacia Park. There is parking in front of Shannon's, but a lot of people walk or ride their bike.

Fantastic local place. With the expansion of the bar plus with the rooftop patio, it's a fantastic place for a drink and quality bite. The sandwiches and soups are always fresh and very tasty. Nice to have options outside of the standard greasy burger. Very friendly and very fair pricing
