Horrible experience. We get to the restaurant and get seated. My husband and I ordered yuca frita for an appetizer. We also ordered a breaded steak to share. Well, unfortunately, they delivered the food within 5 minutes of ordering, all of it, including the appetizer. Really? You managed to cook all that, especially a fried steak, in five minutes? Serving food that has been sitting around is unacceptable! Firstly, the appetizer should be delivered FIRST! Then, to make matters worse, there were ants on the plate. At first, I didn’t realize what they were. As we began to eat our meal, i noticed a large pile of sugar ants on the table….the same ants that were on my plate of food. HORRIBLE! I quickly call the gentleman over to please ask him to remove the ants, he then walks away. Five minutes pass, and some other lady came to clean up the ants. I have no idea why the man delegated that job to someone else and had us waiting even longer to clean up the ants. Truly, unacceptable and gross!
I'm a fan of this franchise...but this is the worst location...has nothing to do with all the others that I often visit. Make sure you keep yourself far away from this one...Thank God there's a couple more around. The service is less than professional, the waitresses are too busy talking to each other, I waited over 5 minutes to get a menu despite the restaurant being almost empty..the one that looks like the manager was sitting down at the front fixing the schedule and I wonder why they're so unprofessional...horrible!
Service was excellent. Food was good, but not great. They were missing some brunch items. Solid Cuban spot. 4.5 out of 5. Will continue coming back to this place.
