Seester's Mexican Cantina

Good food and better people watching. We sat outside on the patio area and enjoyed the beach view. The waitresses were very friendly and the prices were more reasonable than many other options in the same area. Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating when a shaded table opened up and we asked to move (before we had any food). Parking: Found a parking spot directly behind the restaurant. The same lot they were charging $5 for beach parking.

Service and presentation were exceptional. We were seated outside and then it began to rain. They worked with the patrons to get them seated inside immediately. They absolutely took everything in stride. The first thing to arrive at our table was the seasoned chips and a variety of 5 dips including guacamole. The food that arrived looked top notch with the sour cream drizzled on like you see on the cooking shows. I would have preferred a bit more heat. All in all, I really enjoyed the experience. I'll definitely come back when it is not raining!

Where to start… This wasn’t Tex-Mex. It wasn’t SoCal-Mex. It wasn’t even Pueblo-New Mex! And it certainly wasn’t some dainty nouvelle cuisine mexicaine pablum you’d get at a boutique restaurant. These flavors were bold — the portions plentiful — ingredients fresh — the red and green chile were made from scratch! That’s right, the “sauces” are legit! I’ve had Mexican food in every place you’d expect to find it, but this was totally unexpected. This uniquely mid-western Mexican fare stands unparalleled; boldly subtle, richly seasoned, simply mouth-watering. Our party of five ordered practically one of everything on the menu. Nothing disappointed. We’re still begging Lynn and Wendy (The Seesters) for recipes and have offered to invest in a franchise in the PNW! We will make this a regular stop on our travels. PS: the drink menu is super awesome ????????????
