First and last visit. Someone posted about this delicious lobster roll on Sunday, so I had to come give it a try on Monday. Very disappointed. Looks beautiful, but taste wasn’t where it needed to be. Got the lobster bisque, Against my better judgement I decided to take a few spoonfuls to make sure I wasn’t tripping. It had a curdled and gritty texture. I was able to send it back without any issues. Spent the following afternoon praising the porcelain god. I also learned another very valuable lesson. If they make you pay upfront for your food beware. I’m still waiting on the refund for the spoiled lobster bisque.
Service was great. Food came out fast and served by a cheerful employee. Food was good and reasonably priced. Gumbo was good and catfish too. So glad we stopped.
I don’t know if they have a new manager or what. The food was very bland this time except the fried shrimp. The fish was flavorless and dry. The oysters were tiny and greasy. The stuffed shrimp was a good size but flavorless and cold. My wife did enjoy her hamburger. The drink station counter was filthy as well as the bathroom. Wish I had taken a picture of the drink station. We used to really like this place but probably won’t be going back with the higher prices and lower quality food. Please go back to your old delicious food.
