SAVE ME SOME

I found a piece of hair in my cornbread which I was really upset about because I was enjoying the food. It was kind of hard for me to finish knowing someone’s hair was in it. But in all honesty I loved the taste of the food beforehand. I really see myself coming back and re ordering from them and wish for a better experience whenever I do decide on that...

I went there today and ordered meatloaf macaroni and cheese and yams when I say this food looks like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for 3 days and then reheated....I don't know how anyone could take pride in serving something that looked so horrible the macaroni and cheese was so soggy and looked so old the candy yams looked like they had been sitting at the bottom of the pot for 3 days and they just tossed it in the container and gave it to me the meat loaf oh my God was some of the most terrible food I've ever eaten in my life im still trying to figure out what kind of meat this was..... I do not recommend anyone waste their money at this restaurant

Jacqueline and I ordered two dinners through UberEATS this afternoon because for the first this week, I had an appitite since starting chemotherapy. I woke up wanting beef short ribs, rice/ gravy, dressing and greens. Since the Chemo, my mouth is sore and swallowing is difficult so I REQUESTED EXTRA GRAVY ON THE RICE AS WELL AS THE MEAT. I was so disappointed because I had a tablespoon of gravy on the rice and absolutely NOTHING on the beef short ribs. I wasn't able to eat my dinner so I gave it to Jacqueline and ate some fruit. I spoke with the owner who stated she would try and bring a replacement, but so far ... Nothing. I couldn't rate it because I was unable to eat it. This was our FIRST time trying this establishment. I wish them well . **UPDATE** I can now give "Save Me Some" a 5 Star Rating. The owner reached back out to me and went way above ANY owner/ restaurant I've EVER dealt with to ensure my satisfaction. I'm deeply grateful and appreciative. I was too exhausted to eat,
