Satsuma Sushi

Price was not bad for the amount of sashimi, but some of the sashimi had a weird fishy smell to it

Sadly service was pretty bad today. We have been here numerous times through the years so today was disappointing. We, my husband and I arrived 20 minutes prior to opening. Door was open so we walked in and were quickly told not to enter as they were not yet open. So we walked outside to wait. At 4:47 a hispanuc couple and their elderly mom walked in and a fellow came to them at the door and told them they were not open. At 4:50 a caucasian couple walked in and they were seated. At 4:55 a caucasian women walked in and was able to pick up and pay for her to go order. At 5:05 we walked in again and a fellow told us to follow him. He quickly walked ahead and set menus on a random table and walked away. Though the food was decent, service was poor even though they advertise very friendly staff! I guess that means to some . . .

Loved the sushi here, especially the special rolls. Favorites include Golden bear roll, and Flaming Dragon Roll!
