Great food! First time visiting and really enjoyed everything we had.

First time there, may have caught them on a bad day. Ordered fried red snapper and the fish Tasted as if it might not have been fully defrosted before cooking.. not saying it wasn't fully cooked.. because it was.. the fish wasn't flaky, more mushy consistency. Service was excellent, veggies also tasted good.

Cafeteria style. Iwas told that all veggies are cooked without the addition of meat (chicken stock, bacon, ham hogs, ..) I am a vegetarian for so long that I might have forgotten what meat tastes like but I surely didn't taste anything that I thought was meat-based. I got Fried okra: thickly breaded and crisp Fried green beans; even thicker coated and tasty (,in particular with hot sauce) Turnip greens: very tasty (can they be that tasty without a ham bone?) Beans with tomatoes and potatoes. A little salty but right up my alley. Jalapeno corn muffin. All in all a bit more food than I needed but I tasty and I didn't leave a single crumb. A restaurant serving on styrofoam plates cannot receive 5 stars from me. Vegetarian options: I didn't taste any meat products in the veggies.
