Use to be 5 stars as the food spoke for itself. Delicious and filling. Now they seem to be understaffed and overworked. They forgot fried eggs on both sandwich. Forgot hot sauces. Side cheesy hashbrowns were bland burnt and not strained well enough of water pre-cooked aka soggy. Also portion sizes have been cut in half even though prices went up. It makes sense now why Sarkis is no where near as by as they used to be. Quality and service have suffered greatly, my heart goes out to the staff as they need better management and support. This is common in many restaurants now unfortunately and Sarkis is one of the victims. Shame on the owners. QC all the time and fifo.
This place is the definition of pastime and tradition. Been ordering the same dish for decades. Go here. Eat a Loretta. Rinse. Repeat.
A Wilmette legend. No words can say how perfect Sarkis is. Used to get a bacon Loretta, special hash, and a Sunkist on my way to college few times a week. You'd be foolish not to eat here. I stop by any time I am in town. Parking: Parking lot is right there always has some spots.
