This place, hands down, has the best spicy ramen I can find. Literally, go here on break from work, maybe once a week! The ugly pop and spicy pork bowls are also amazing ????????
So tasty! Had the Orochon "Brave" ramen and it was the perfect level of spiciness. The broth was nice & hot and full of flavor. The noodles were a nice texture. Also tried the Bulgogi Chicken Cup and it was delicious! The chicken was very tender and juicy.
I’ve visited Sapporo several times since there aren’t many options for ramen in GR, but it’s been tasty each time. Admittedly, I’ve had better ramen, but the noodles here still hit the spot. I had the butter corn shoyu ramen this last time, along with an order of the takoyaki. Both were excellent. The broth was rich and was complimented by the spring onions, menma, egg, corn and butter. The noodles were slightly chewy (in a good way), and it was very satisfying. The takoyaki was packed with umami and was very rich. Sapporo is a very welcome addition to Grand Rapids’ restaurants.
