Sapore Prime Italian

We brought our wedding party here for lunch after our wedding rehearsal at Wedgewood. We wanted somewhere that was a bit nicer and could accommodate a large party. I can’t recommend this place enough!! Absolutely everything that we ate here was delicious! The pasta, the sandwiches, the desserts, the appetizers and even the drinks. I’ve been in Denver for almost 10 years and I can honestly say this is the best food I’ve had in Colorado. The service and attentiveness of the staff as soon as we arrived was phenomenal. Everyone was professional and personable. Shortly after we placed our orders, there was a wreck nearby that knocked out power to the entire plaza. The response from everyone is why I knew we’d be back. The staff apologized for the inconvenience and immediately sprung into action. Rather than excuses, they let us know that there would be a slight delay but they were still committed to service. Without lights or exhaust fans, they still produced amazing dishes. The entire team

I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant on my trip to Colorado and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We had our family dinner night there and were able to try many different menu items. The Beef Carpaccio was delicious, the Prime Steak was cooked perfect and the Roast chicken was juicy. We had a variety of Pasta dishes that were amazing, Mushroom tortellini was probably my favorite. The cauliflower soup was also delicious. I’m a huge desert person so we had all of the desserts on the menu, no disappointment there either, although the lemon donuts were my favorite. I look forward to my trips to Colorado and continuing to have our family dinner nights there. Thank you Prime Sapore!! We will be back!

Excellent service by Lexy! Outstanding food. We enjoyed the Caesar salad, tomato salad, carpaccio, several pasta dishes, and scallops. Dessert was terrific as were the drinks. The only draw back is the incredibly uncomfortable seating which is easily remedied. I encourage the owners to look into good seating where you can sit awhile and enjoy your meal. The built in banquettes were not properly pitched (straight up and down) and the wire chairs are cute but really silly in a high end restaurant. Beyond that it was terrific!
